I don’t have many pictures of me at my highest weight. This picture was taken 3 months before my high school graduation. I was 256 pounds. I was 17 years old and desperately wanting to be healthy and fit. I am now 24 years years old, and I made it! I learned that health and fitness is not a destination, it’s a lifestyle and a journey. And mine will never end 8)

I used to think I was “thick” and “bigboned” and cute while fighting constant emotions of sadness and “not being good enough” because I was at an embarassing weight compared to everyone else. After finally feeding myself the RIGHT foods compared to chipotle and fast food day after day, clean eating and exercise took over my life and I know that its the best decision ive ever made in my life.. I stand today, as a happier and healthier young woman of Christ and so thankful for my journey because Ive learned what I am capable of. I need to remind myself that I inspire people daily and change not only MY life but others’ lives as well..
